s¼¶ËØÈËCSJ began with an interest group in the fall of 2019.  On March 12, 2021, s¼¶ËØÈËCSJ received university chapter status from the national organization, a division of the American Counseling Association.

s¼¶ËØÈËCSJ’s purpose is to bring together agents of change in the s¼¶ËØÈË community who are ready and willing to take action towards addressing social inequities, combat generational stigma about mental health, promote cultural competence, and make positive societal change through collaborative work amongst social service professionals that is action driven.
